Jerry Potts

VP Marketing, MFS Investment Management / Adjunct Professor, Carroll School of Management, Boston College

Jerry Potts has been involved with Club Passim for over ten years. In the 1990s, he founded Eastern Front Records. A number of artists from the label—including Martin Sexton, Peter Mulvey, Kevin Connolly, Greg Greenway, Courage Brothers, and Barbara Kessler—have performed frequently at Club Passim and have built strong national followings with the Club as a base. Jerry plays guitar and has written and performed for over 35 years. In 2005, he released a CD of original music, “Communicate,” and still plays gigs a few times a year. Jerry joined the Board in 2002 after seeing Passim’s ability to create a powerful, nurturing environment that connects artists and audiences.

Jerry has also spent 27 years working in the business world. He was a co-founder of RadioBoston, a 24/7, live Internet radio station, and he has consulted with a variety of start-up organizations. Jerry is a graduate of Brown University where he received a bachelor’s degree in organizational behavior and political science. He’s president of Medfield Youth Baseball and Softball and is a rabid Patriots fan.

Jerry lives in Medfield, Massachusetts with his wife and three kids. All of them love music, play instruments, and have figured out that music makes the world a much better place.
