Jim Kelly, Passim Board Treasurer

Jim has been a member of the Passim Board for 8 years and retired from his role as Corporate Controller for Cabot Corporation, a publicly traded, global specialty chemical company in January of 2020.

Jim has a long-standing passion for music, dating back to first learning to play guitar in middle school. He is an avid live music fan, appreciates music of many genres and is a frequent patron of Passim and a variety of other New England area music venues and festivals. Favorite artists include The Allman Brothers, Bruce Cockburn, Mark Erelli, Lori McKenna, Gillian Welch, and Neil Young, among many others.

When not travelling or attending concerts, Jim is a fitness enthusiast and is a Corporator and Audit Committee co-chair for the Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, MA. He is a CPA and earned a BSBA from Georgetown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Patty Katsaros

Patty Katsaros joined the board in 2013 and brings over 20 years of corporate business development and marketing experience to the team. She currently serves as Director of Marketing & Growth for Waypoint Robotics, a Nashua NH based robotics company that designs and manufactures autonomous mobile robots for the manufacturing workforce. Prior to joining Waypoint founded P.H Koules Consulting, where she led sales and marketing initiatives for manufacturers in the greater Boston area. In this role she spearheaded major brand development, web development, digital marketing, and SEO efforts, improving lead generation and sales for her clients. Patty also co-founded and served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Aigis Mechtronics LLC, a spinoff of Philips Electronics. She graduated from Gettysburg College with a B.A. in Management and Psychology and earned an MBA from the Wake Forest Babcock School of Management. She currently resides in Boston, MA and enjoys various athletic and musical endeavors including singing lead in a local cover band.

Chuck Honnet, Vice President

Chuck founded his own marketing consulting & facilitation company, Nine Athens, 8 years ago and now works individually with a select group of key clients. He brings over 30+ years of experience with Blue Chip marketing companies, including Gillette and S.C. Johnson. He has held a variety of leadership and team roles and international positions including Marketing Directorships in Europe, Japan, and the US as well as sales planning and brand management positions. Chuck has been a senior consultant with Brand Learning Partners, a UK based consultancy that specializes in building marketing capability for global businesses. In addition to his work with larger clients, Chuck is a facilitator for The Board Forum, working with small business CEOs in New England.

Most recently, he founded Nine Athens Music, dedicated to the discovery, encouragement and support of local musicians, venues and events – all focused on his love of Americana/Roots, bluegrass, and folk music. Projects undertaken under the Nine Athens Music umbrella are offered on a pro bono basis.

Chuck graduated from Cornell University with a BA in History and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. He’s a certified Empowerment Trainer, a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership, and recently completed training in Transformational Leadership. He now serves on the Executive Board of the Harvard Square Business Association.

Chuck is married and has two grown children off pursuing their dreams. His passion for music finds expression in guitar and beginning mandolin playing, volunteer work at Passim in Harvard Square, and involvement wherever he finds emerging talent in Folk, Americana and Roots music.

Jaime D’Almeida

Jaime is a Managing Director at Duff & Phelps, a valuation and corporate finance advisory firm. He focuses on litigation support where he consults and testifies on valuation, damages and corporate finance matters across a number of industries. Jaime holds a BS from Carnegie Mellon and an MBA from Babson College, where he has been an Adjunct Lecturer since 2011.

Jaime has been involved in music since he began playing the guitar, violin and piano at an early age. He is a singer/songwriter, leading local bands Five Dollar Milkshake and The Timbre Project in the 90s and 00s. Jaime’s songs received radio airplay as well as a television spot. In 2000 he also co-founded an online email marketing application developed specifically for musicians.

Now Jaime spends most of his musical time playing for (and with) his 2 daughters Mia and Lily in Cambridge, hoping they will find as much pleasure in music as he does. He lives in Cambridge with his wife Lisa, 2 daughters and canine companion Opie.
