Effervescent and engaging, Boston-based fiddler @hannekejewel's style fuses influences from the Isle of Skye and Cape Breton Island with Americana grooves, creating a cutting-edge acoustic sound that retains the integrity and spirit of the Scottish tradition. Tonight @ 7pm we're delighted to have @annamie.ke, @sweetpetuniaband opens. Anna Mieke’s deft songwriting and enveloping compositions have asserted her as a vital voice amongst Ireland’s alt-folk genre. The Irish multi-instrumentalist and songwriter based in Wicklow, Ireland, toes the line between folk forms and vivid dreamscapes, drawing on traditional and contemporary motifs.

When listening to queer freak folk duo Sweet Petunia for the first time, many are blown away by the interchanging vocal lines of Madison Simpson & Mairead Guy. Unbelievably, the two are not related, though their voices are almost indistinguishable from each other. These brother harmonies lead Sweet Petunia through many shifting genres, melding traditional folk sensibilities with a distinct punk flare.

Through an active exchange of ideas, creative collaboration, and partnerships, we aim to foster and develop sustainable channels to welcome and invite diverse audiences and artists to the Passim stage.

Our friends in Session Americana heard Passim was going to sit dark this weekend after a pileup of show cancellations here. All five of the players happen to be in town and offered to help out.
