Neil Young’s music looms large in my “life soundtrack,” and I’m really excited to offer a semester of learning a few of his songs.The semester set list includes songs like, Sugar Mountain, Needle and the Damage Done and Old Man.This class is for people who have relative comfort playing bar chords, and can switch between chords without a pause. Experience reading guitar tabs is helpful but not necessary.Please be prepared with a flat pick and capo
This class will be held from 8:00-9:15pm ET on Tuesdays, Sep 15, Sep 22, Sep 29, Oct 6, Oct 13
Please note: Limited to 15 online students (18 yrs of age or older); Pre-sales are highly encouraged! Sales end 2 hours before the class begins. 4 in-person students are required for this class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will be notified and receive a full refund.

Janet Feld is an award-winning performing songwriter, appearing at folk festivals and coffeehouses from coast to coast throughout a nearly four-decade career. She’s been teaching general music classes and private lessons to people of all ages since the 1980s. Since 2000, she’s been teaching guitar and songwriting at The Passim School of Music and is the founder and Chief Music Officer at Janet’s Planet: Music Lessons for Humanoids, Inc. She has recorded 5 CDs and published her first book in 2023 for music teachers Practicing Safe Music: Create an Emotionally Safe and Magical Space for Your Students
