Bill Morrissey (1951-2011) wrote songs as sturdy as mill town lumber and as finely wrought as the riffles on his beloved New England trout streams. Infused with his sharp wit, Morrissey's works were worlds unto themselves, so well-crafted that it was nearly impossible to find the seam between his imagination and the real world.

Musically, Charissa has been compared to everyone from Amanda Palmer to Joni Mitchell to Bela Fleck. She is thrilled and delighted by this because she wants her music to defy category; within her there is jumbled together a daring, open-hearted performer, a wistful, introspective songwriter, and an intentional instrumentalist who is driven to break down barriers for her instrument.

Born and raised in Louisiana, Jess Kerber’s eclectic folk is a bridge between voices of the past and songs of the future. With a voice like molten honey and intricate guitar parts in alternate tunings, Kerber weaves stories to get lost in.

Rachel may be best known as the former guitarist and singer-songwriter from bluegrass string phenom Twisted Pine, but it is in her recent venture as a solo artist that we are beginning to fully recognize her dynamism as a writer and performer. Whether she’s fronting her new string band - Traveling Light - or appearing with only a guitar, you’ll be mesmerized by her elegantly intricate arrangements and captivated by the delivery of each and every word.
