THIS IS AN IN-PERSON CLASS
Learn to play the Irish tin whistle! This charming, simple flute is fun and easy to pick up. Learning “by ear” in the traditional Irish style, we’ll learn the basics of how to play this timeless instrument, and build a basic repertoire of classic Irish tunes. Whether you’re just picking up a tin whistle for the first time, or new to music altogether, all musicians and students of all skill levels are welcome!
Class Schedule
Mondays: March 23, March 30, April 6, April 13, April 20** (**if folks are on vacation this day, we will find another day to make up the class that suits the majority of the students)
Time: 6:30–7:45pm ET
Location: Passim School of Music, 26 Church Street, Cambridge, MA(Classrooms are located on the second floor; unfortunately, there is no elevator.)
Ages: 18+
Please Note:Pre-sales are highly encouraged! Online sales end 2 hours before the class begins. A minimum of 4 students is required for the class to run. If canceled due to low enrollment, you will be notified and receive a full refund.
Adam Hendey

Adam Hendey is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and composer living in Boston, Massachusetts. Known for his sense and skill as a sought-after accompanist in the city’s vibrant traditional music communities, Adam is also a prolific teacher, performer, and producer. Adam is a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where he studied Traditional Music as a Master’s student, and the Robert D. Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon, where he finished with Bachelor’s degrees in Music and Philosophy.
