Dinty & The Bench Warmers
- Singer/Songwriter
Well, it happened again. A show fell through with a week to go. Let’s see…who lives nearby, has great songs, and a lot of adventurous friends? We know, Dinty! This show is guaranteed to be under-rehearsed and a whole lot of fun. Kat, Naomi, and Dinty found they had a magic vocal blend last summer and have been looking for a chance to dust it off ever since. And anyone who goes to Passim knows that Sean and Dinty have been making questionable musical choices together for over twenty years. Come find out why!
Dinty Child
- Singer/Songwriter
A multi instrumental long time member of the Boston roots scene mafia, Dinty Child can most often be seen with local legends Session Americana, but also as a member of the Sun Ra meets Ringling Brothers caravan of the Chandler Travis Philharmonic, as part of the unapologetically loud and grimy Catbirds, as a sensitive sideman to folks like Rose Cousins and Kris Delmhorst, and even as frontman and ringmaster of the twenty piece Funky White Honkies.
Kat Wallace
- Fiddle
- Folk
Kat Wallace is a Boston-based multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. Her affinity for original music has her working and recording with a myriad of touring bands, most notably as the fiddle player in Rachel Sumner and Traveling Light. Her debut solo album, Grand Design, set to be released on 1/24/25, captures Wallace’s musings on world’s ending, sailing across the western ocean, and moving on. Her timeless lyrics and virtuosic guitar playing are the foundation of this record and grounded in traditional Celtic and American folk repertoire.
