Dan Mangan is a two-time JUNO Award–winning and two-time Polaris Music Prize–nominated singer-songwriter from Vancouver, Canada. Over more than a decade of touring across North America, Europe, and Australia, he has built an international following for his earnest storytelling, stirring live shows, and voice that carries both grit and grace.
With six studio albums to his name — including Nice, Nice, Very Nice, Oh Fortune, Club Meds, and Being Somewhere — Mangan’s music blends folk sincerity with cinematic indie rock ambition. His songs have been featured in film and television, covered by peers, and sung back to him by audiences worldwide.
On stage, Mangan creates an atmosphere that feels both intimate and communal, the kind of night where laughter and reflection live side by side. Whether performing solo or with his band, he invites listeners into something honest, unguarded, and deeply human.
Matt Pond PA
- Indie Rock
- Singer/Songwriter
Matt Pond’s very name evokes the natural world in which his songs are so often set, with their evocative lyrics about the sometimes jagged edges of love, the pros and cons of connection, and the agony and ecstasy of memory. He has always mapped the universal emotions of being alive onto the contours of his own stories.
From the band’s beginnings in Philadelphia, to their current home in the heart of the Hudson Valley, through 13 albums (among them Emblems, Several Arrows Later, The Dark Leaves, The State of Gold, and, most recently, the luminous The Natural Lines), Matt Pond PA has always been a living, breathing organism—one that’s constantly changing. Two notable mainstays are Pond’s longtime right-hand man, Chris Hansen, and cellist Hilary James.
“I named the band after myself, but the fact is that this is a complete collaboration,” Pond says. “Everyone I’ve worked with lives in my head and in these songs.”
