Rebecca Hart

Rebecca Hart is a singer/songwriter, actor, and lyricist/playwright based in NYC. Recent projects include her original solo show How To Read Tarot Cards (Firehouse Theatre Newport, The Cell NYC); the alt-opera Submersible (Catwalk Art Institute); having her song ‘Starting Over’ appear in a video game (Wadjet Eye “Old Skies”) … and many many gigs with and without her alt-folk act Rebecca Hart & The Wrong Band (Rockwood Music Hall, the Irish Arts Center, Joe’s Pub, Brooklyn Americana Fest and others.)  Her 2018 album ‘The Magician’s Daughter’ was produced by Ben Sollee (“Brilliant originals” – Brooklyn Rail) and is avail currently on bandcamp.com. She is an Associate Artist with The Civilians’ Theatre Company, winner of the 2017 NY Innovative Theatre Award for Best Original Music (The Cabaret at the end of the World), a two-time alum of National Alliance for Musical Theatre Showcase (How To Break composer 2014, Iron John: an american ghost story book & lyrics 2019), and an enthusiastic alto in the Melodia Women’s Choir. She is thrilled to be back at Club Passim after a long time.
