The first, led by @JoyAskew, will explore the ‘arc’ of your own voice. Then, get ready to party, because the second, led by @RTSumner, will look at songwriting through exploring covers. Not only will this be a workshop, but it will be a 🎉RELEASE PARTY🎉 for her EP of cover songs, The Things You Forgo. We are so excited to have Sam Amidon tonight! Sam is a singer, guitarist, fiddler and banjo player who pushes the boundaries of folk music. Fatal Flower Garden is Amidon’s fourth recording on Nonesuch. Fun fact: he also was one of four singer/songwriter’s featured on Kronos Quartet’s 2017 Folk Songs for the label! Doors at 6pm, show at 7pm.
