ONLINE: Guitar 1
- School of Music class
*THIS IS AN ONLINE SEAT IN A HYBRID CLASS*
This fall we are testing out a new way of learning by offering several online seats for a few in-person classes – this will be one of those classes. Instructors will Zoom those students into the classroom via iPad. Lessons will be recorded and links will be sent to both online and in-person students to playback at any time during the semester.
By the end of the first class, you’ll know how to:
Play three chords
One strum pattern
Slowly, but surely, play a song
Many students wonder if I’m out of my mind when I promise that. Then they experience the fact that they can do it and get really excited.
6 weekly classes
Let Me Take The Mystery Out Of It music theory worksheets
Lifetime access to video lessons of all classes
A free 30 minute online private lesson (a $150 value)
You can learn how to play the guitar. Click here for a free video lesson preview to experience it for yourself.
Then get psyched and register for a semester in Guitar 1.
“I think you are a revelation — such an excellent writer and performer AND you can teach. Your lucky students!” – Christine Lavin
“When world events made in-person guitar classes impossible, Janet didn’t miss a beat to make the best of virtual instruction. I continue going back to Janet because I know she is incredibly talented and yet I can feel her excitement through the screen when she teaches the fundamentals of guitar. She shares her wealth of knowledge in her own unique, unpretentious way, and persists until I understand technique and the music. She is down to earth, incredibly comfortable in her skin, and full of joy. I am grateful to have studied with her.” – Eric K. Student at The Passim School of Music
Janet will run this class in a hybrid format, teaching both in-person and on Zoom. With advanced notice, in-person students are welcome to join classes online if they need.
This class will be held from 6:30-7:45pm ET on Tuesdays, Nov 2, 9, 16, 23, Dec 7, 14
Please note: Limited to 4 online students (16 yrs of age or older); Pre-sales are highly encouraged! Sales end 1 hour before the class begins. 3 in-person students are required for this class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will be notified and receive a full refund.
Janet Feld is the Founder and Chief Music Officer at Janet’s Planet: Music Lessons For Humanoids, Inc., offering lessons and classes to people of all ages. Her goal is to help people experience the fact that you don’t have to be from the “special talented planet” in order to play music.
