Passim Touring Artist Grant

The Passim Touring Artist Grant was established to help make touring financially feasible for emerging artists in the New England community.  The Fund will award grants annually to qualified acts via a juried submission process.

The applicants who submitted in Sept 2025 are being notified the week of March 9th.

Apply for the next round of funding now until March 31st

Requirements for the grant:

  • Grants are $1,000 per act to go towards touring expenses (including but not limited to lodging, transportation, and food).
  • Artists must maintain strong ties to the Northeastern US and be active in the Northeast music community, though the tour does not have to include dates in the Northeast.
  • This should be for a tour in the next 3 months.  This grant defines a tour as at least 5 show dates outside of the area you immediately live.
  • This grant is geared towards directly supporting independent artists with touring-related costs.  Therefore we require this application to be filled out by the artist and not other industry professionals (such as managers, agents, promoters, etc).
  • Recipients will be asked to show proof the tour did happen.  And we’d love to hear your stories from the road and how this grant made the trip a little smoother!

We prefer artists who have not been given a grant from Passim in the past (though that does not disqualify you). Projects that involve current Passim employees, staff, or board members may not apply.

Please email grants@passim.org with any questions.
