Torrin Ryan & Amy Law
Based in the Boston area, Torrin Ryan (uilleann pipes, flute, whistle) and Amy Law (fiddle) are a duo united by a deep respect for traditional Irish music. Blending decades of experience, their playing is rooted in the pure drop, older style of the genre. Their musical backgrounds are a natural fit: Torrin brings an All-Ireland award-winning history, while Amy — a protégé of renowned fiddler Dale Russ — anchors their sound with a rhythmic drive and style inspired by the Sliabh Luachra tradition.
Together, Torrin and Amy perform extensively across New England at gatherings dedicated to traditional music. Their recent performance credits as a duo include the Maine Celtic Celebration, West Coast Tionól, Boston Celtic Music Festival (BCMFest), Blackstone River Theatre, and Patsy Touhey Weekend.
