Tina Ross writes the kind of songs that feel like conversations you didn’t know you needed—honest, poetic, and deeply human.  Tina Ross is a NY-based singer-songwriter whose music blends contemporary folk with touches of jazz, rooted in lyrical storytelling and emotional depth. She writes and performs original songs that explore connection, resilience, love, and the human experience through poetic lyrics, intricate guitar work, and heartfelt delivery.

After a career as a Chiropractor, while also a vocalist in a Jazz Trio, Tina is on her second act and emerging as a Singer Songwriter.  She was a 2024 Falcon Ridge Grassy Hill Emerging Artist and a 2025 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival “Most Wanted to return” Main Stage Artist, the 2023 Focus Music Heyman Rising Artist Award Winner and she is featured on Christine Lavin’s most recent “The Seasons Project” compilation.  Tina’s debut album, “While I’m Here” was listed as a Grammy first-round consideration.  She is now recording her second album with Producer Lorne Entress (Laurie McKenna, Susan Cattaneo, Mark Erelli, Hayley Reardon).

Tina also hosts the Zoomcast Inside the Song, a monthly hybrid concert and interview series featuring seasoned songwriters and the craft behind their work. She is deeply committed to songcraft and to creating spaces where meaningful music and stories thrive.  This Zoomcast is the model for her live shows “SongCraft and Chat – A Songwriters Round”.
