Each spring, a collective of songwriters spend a week on an island in the middle of Lake Winnepesaukee. They write, create, share, and commune. Gathered at the fireplace each night, they joined together to breathe the first breaths of life into new songs. If the island is where these songs drew their first breaths, the stage at Club Passim is the ground on which they’ll take their first steps. Join us for the official unveiling of the fruits of our labors for “Songs From Three Mile Island.” We are so excited to have Sub Rosa Songwriting Retreat - Songs from Three Mile Island playing tonight @ 7pm!

Today @ 1pm we have a very special event with Wall of Grass: A Benefit for The Dana Farber Cancer Institute's Expressive Arts Therapy Program host an interactive folk concert! Wall of Grass is an interactive folk-music collective from Boston, Mass. that only performs in the spirit of contributing to the greater good. Dubbed as “Phil Spector meets Bill Monroe,” a “folkestra,” “folk-flash-mob,” and playing the style of music 20+ strong in a circle now lovingly known as “cluster-folk”. Several of them in the band are cancer survivors and ALL of their know & love someone who has been touched by this disease.

Tonight we’re thrilled to have @antjeduvekot playing @ 7pm! She has solidified her reputation as one of Boston’s top singer songwriters with “Big Dream Boulevard” her debut studio release and “the Near Demise of the Highwire Dancer” and “New Siberia” her follow-up albums. Antje has won some of the top songwriting awards including the Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition, the prestigious, Kerrville (TX) “Best New Folk Award” and in one of the nation’s top music markets, she won the Boston Music Award for “Outstanding Folk Act”, three of the top prizes in the singer songwriter world.
