There’s a powerful current between Dwight Ritcher and Nicole Nelson onstage. You hear it in the way their voices meet and feel it in the space they leave each other. Both singers and songwriters, they bring Dwight’s soulful tenor and blues-rooted guitar together with Nicole’s soaring voice and expressive bass playing, drawing from American roots music – soul, blues, R&B, and jazz. At Club Passim, Dwight + Nicole invite listeners close enough to catch the quiet turns as well as the full force of their singing. These are songs to spend an evening inside, with two artists who come alive together.
