Aditi Malhotra is a vocalist, composer and educator originally from New Delhi, India, and currently based in Brooklyn, New York. With an early background in Hindustani Classical Music, and later influences spanning Jazz and Soul, she has performed at notable venues such as the Kennedy Center Washington DC, Panama Jazz Festival, and Festival da Jazz, Switzerland. She completed her Masters in Music at Berklee College of Music in Boston in 2024, under the mentorship of Danilo Pérez, Terri Lyne Carrington, and John Patitucci. Having grown up in an environment where singing with the family and at school was part of the everyday, Aditi seeks to write music that allows her to connect with her roots, but defies any genre classifications, and is interested in exploring ideas of identity, longing and home through her music. She has been a recipient of the 2021, 2025 and 2026 ASCAP Foundation Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Awards, and is working on releasing her debut full length album at the end of this year.
