In this class, you’ll receive the tools needed to take your artistry to the next level. You will learn basic budgeting and organizational systems, brainstorm bios and booking emails, and have the opportunity to workshop your artistry. Participants will leave with worksheets, templates, and real-world examples to use in their own craft!Class Overview:Class 1: Developing your personal artistryClass 2: Building your online portfolio – EPK & website basicsClass 3: Advocating for yourself + letting go of the fear of rejectionClass 4: Budgeting & Organizational toolsClass 5: Career planning – annual and 5-year goal setting

This class will be held from 6:30-7:45pm ET on Tuesdays, April 30, May 7, 14, 21, 28

Please note: The class will be held at The Passim School of Music which is located at 26 Church St. Cambridge, MA. Classrooms are located on the third floor and, unfortunately, we do not have an elevator.

Limited to students 16 yrs of age or older; Pre-sales are highly encouraged! Online sales end 2 hours before the class begins. 3 students are required for this class to meet. If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, you will be notified and receive a full refund.

Maddy Simpson

Maddy Simpson is a musician who has been living and working in the Allston/Brighton area for over six years. She manages and performs in folk duo Sweet Petunia and indie rock band Winkler, runs sound and books free community shows at historic folk venue Club Passim, and proudly identifies as a member of Boston’s thriving DIY scene. To her, music and community run hand in hand, and she is as dedicated to uplifting the incredible musicians around her as she is to carving herself a place in the industry.
