  • Folk
  • Folk Rock
  • Guitar
  • Online Classes

Instructor will Zoom online students into the classroom via iPad.

By request, I’m so excited to be offering a semester of learning how to play the songs of Alanis Morrissette.  Playing songs like “Hand in My Pocket” and “Thank You,” we’ll explore various strumming and fingerpicking patterns, chord voicings, plus have the chance to practice singing and playing at the same time.  We’ll also practice various scales and finger exercises to promote strength, dexterity and finger independence – important ingredients for guitar-playing badassery. This class is the right level for you if you’re able to play bar chords with relative comfort, along with open chords. Familiarity with reading guitar tab is helpful but not necessary. Please come to class prepared with a flat pick and capo.

This class will be held from 8:00-9:15pm ET on Tuesdays, April 30, May 7, 14, 21, June 4

Please note: Limited to students 16 yrs of age or older; Pre-sales are highly encouraged! Sales end 2 hours before the class begins. 3 students are required for this class to meet. If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, you will be notified and receive a full refund.
