In this workshop, we’ll go over the essential accounts any musician needs to properly register their music, collect their royalties, and reach their fans. We’ll cover topics including choosing a Performing Rights Organization (PRO), why you need SoundExchange, optimizing your streaming services’ “For Artists” pages, and making informed decisions about obtaining a publishing administrator. Gain the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the complex world of music accounts with confidence and efficiency.
 
This workshop is designed to empower musicians at every stage of their careers. We’ll begin with a quick lesson on the different accounts every artist should maintain and why you need them, before moving on to a primer on the different types of royalties your music can generate. We’ll conclude with a unit on the accounts that help artists market their music and reach their fans efficiently.

This workshop will take place on Zoom from 6:30pm-8:30pm ET.
