*THIS IS AN ONLINE CLASS*
This class will pickup where Introduction to the Harmonica left off, and we will work on developing technique and style. This class will explore the blues more deeply, and we’ll cover topics like chord rhythm, note bending, amplification, and playing with a band.
Students will explore bending notes on all holes, including both blow and draw bends. Studies of positions one, two and three, and more subjective issues like note choice, tone color, and special effects. Students will need to have two harmonicas, in the keys of A and C.
It is recommended that students have taken the Introduction to the Harmonica course, but it is not required, and exceptions can be made by the instructor for more experienced players. If you have questions about purchasing a harmonica, or the class, you can email the instructor at: email@example.com
This class will be held from 6:30-7:45pm on Thursdays, Jan. 7, 14, 28, Feb. 4, 11, 18
